Pineapple Express Pineapple Express is a sativa-dominant strain of cannabis with a THC content of around 20%. The hybrid cross is made of Trainwreck and Hawaiian strains and is 60% sativa, and 40% indica and has been reported as having energizing, revitalizing effects. G13 Labs created this strain of cannabis about five years before the film of the same name in 2008 but named it “Pineapple Express” after the film was released. Pineapple Express is said to have a tropical, mango, and pineapple flavor and scent.
